1. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance

of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to modify the bill dated 04.06.1999

for an amount of Rs.15,02,139/- issued by respondent No.3.

2. Today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3. Vide order dated 05.01.2024, Registry was directed to inform

the parties as well as their counsel about the next date of hearing in the

present case.

4. As per the office report, learned counsel, namely, Mr. Anil

Mehta, Mr. Manmohan Singh, Mr. Roshan Lal Sharma, Mr. Ashish Rawal

and Mr. Vishal Sodhi, have already been informed through e-mail. Notice

issued to the petitioner has been received back un-served whereas

respondents No.1 and 2 have been served. Notice issued to respondent No.3

has not been received back so far.

5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents points

that a similar controversy at the behest of the petitioner herein was decided

by this Court vide judgment dated 26.11.2014 passed in CWP-16043-1993.

He further points out that they have already complied with the said judgment

dated 26.11.2014 and have given the due credit to the sum of Rs.6,65,000/-

in the electricity account of the petitioner but the balance amount of

Rs.8,37,139/- has not been remitted.

6. Be that as it may, the respondent-department is at liberty to take

recourse to its rights as per law for seeking recovery, if any.

7. The present writ petition is disposed of in above terms.
